Why Is My Firefox Browser Not Recognizing My Log Ins for Websites and Makes Me Log in Again
After FF lxx update, auto login doesn't work. Some sites after manual login don't log me in.
Win7, FF 70.0 64 bit. YouTube, Amazon, eBay, etc., don't auto login. Most have me login manually and piece of work ok later. Some after I manually login, don't transfer to member'south area and request login again or see me every bit a invitee. Some, Amazon, eBay, etc. send me a one time password. Email (aol.com) and my credit spousal relationship motorcar logins are the only ones that works usually. I've worked thru all the related fixes I can find, but none has worked. Usually salve history, tried custom history.

Chosen solution
Cleared history, cache, cookies, no change. Disabled extensions. Noticed FF enabled all addons during update (ie, ublock, adblock and others that duplicate services) so maybe they were conflicting. Some sites I couldn't log into manually now are available with a manual login. I'yard gonna restart FF and see if auto login works. Waiting to mark this as solved. Why does FF accept to accept and so many updates and unnecessary changes? If it's not bankrupt, don't fix it.

If whatever of these doesn't piece of work attempt uninstalling firefox/ desired <default browser you are using > and try once more.

This is twice in the last year FF updates have F' up my browsing. I don't like some of the changes, like the appearance of the saved login listing and other changes in the options. I'k getting tired of this crap. I desire to browse, not problem shoot.

My Firefox has also stopped Motorcar-Logging me in. For me, information technology started while I was working on a New Rig & got Firefox 64-flake installed on it & it wouldn't work right for me... then shortly after the problem retroactively applied to my One-time Rig... it's non worked since. Around this time I was also noticing the new "Firefox Lockwise" & trying to Research information technology & gave information technology a try... it'south a Suspect.
I found a 2 year old Article on this... it completely failed. I've fifty-fifty tried manually exterminating all my Saved Logins... no get. I'k at a loss what to do now. Having to Re-Log In to everything constantly is driving me up the wall, especially my Google Home Folio & bout everything i've enabled 2-Factor Authorization on... especially my Google Home Folio...

I have no clue how long this Cookie Trash has been hiding in my Computer, but it looked Malicious then I ordered CCleaner to exterminate it.
Outta curiosity I test collection afterwards hopping onto Firefox & logging into my Google Homepage then exited and then re-entered to run into if my Car-Logins had regained part... alas, no get. :(

I use the add on: auto cookie delete. I deletes cookies you don't authorize when y'all shut the page or restart Firefox. It'southward not 100% because some sites volition add a 3rd party cookie. I get thru my cookies one time a twenty-four hours and delete the ones automobile cookie delete misses. I thought I marked the FF 70 update problem solved some time ago. It solved itself the next FF upgrade, as I remember a couple days later. Now I avoid the problem by non letting FF update automatically. FF updates take screw upward my browsing a couple times. At present I wait until an update has been out at least a week. Same for windows. Although at present that 7 is gone, I'1000 switching to Zorin. Cheerio Bye Microsoft!

My trouble with machine login was related to a FF version update and was corrected in a couple days with a new update. Only I talked to people that used motorcar cookie delete who had forgotten to add their login sites to the white list. If yous verify that a cookie exists for the site where automobile login failed then it may be in your settings. In FF options, under Enhanced Tracking Protection, Custom, there are iv check boxes. All of them or whatever one, if checked, caused problems for me in logins, and some acquired FF to give erroneous notices that made it hard to fifty-fifty connect to some sites. I got errors like the site's certificate had expired, etc.

Huh... Earlier all this trouble began, I didn't used to need to Whitelist anything for Automobile-Logins to work... then over again I think now that I think about it my bug started after the Firefox Update that inverse stuff to include stuff like the Enhanced Tracking Protection... & to add insult to injury i've nonetheless gotten Cookies I suspect of causing me grief & interfering with my Wireless Antenna's v.0 Ring usage & I had to exterminate & block the ii Sites I suspect as the culprit to make THAT problem finish... :/
Approximate I tin can give it a attempt at going through the horrible horrible tedium of Whitelisting a ton of stuff... :(
Edit: Update: Dammit... not even Whitelisting Sites stops the Auto-Login neglect!!! :'(

I don't like to be tracked. That'south why I use auto cookie delete. But it's not 100%. I go thru my cookies daily to become the missed ones. As well tracking, another reason for deleting cookies, I read a lot of news. Many sites are going to subscriptions. Just next time, if there'southward a cookie, you're blocked from accessing pages. If there is no cookie, it's your first time, over again. If information technology doesn't piece of work for you, History could be office of the problem.

I have my Firefox set up to Clear History when information technology closes. Don't want the History becoming useless ataxia i'll never remember to deal with afterwards. It never interfered with my Auto-Login role earlier... could a Firefox Bug have cropped up in this regard?

I don't think it's a issues. Mine works, many others would be screaming. Information technology could be related to your Isp and might exist worth a call. I had a trouble with logging into my power company site with any browser. Even manually, not just car login. In fact the login box didn't even show. If I used a different ISP, but same reckoner I had no problem logging in. Information technology turned out some of the settings in my wireless modem (supplied by the Internet access provider) needed some settings reset. I use wireless internet. Remotely it could be something running in retentiveness. Sometimes programs interfere with other functions. Sometimes the order programs are loaded at startup can touch other programs.
